1.Mai Käfer Treffen Hannover

Tradičná 1. majová burza VW dielov, spolu so zrazom, ktorá sa každoročne koná na výstavisku v Hannoveri, mi až doteraz unikala. Ale kedže sme potrebovali diely na Konvalinku, vybrali sme sa s Tončim na Deutsche Autobahnen.

A traditional 1.May meet and VW spare parts bourse market, being held every year on the exhibition grounds in Hannover, of which I have been unaware until now.
But since we needed spare parts for Konvalinka, we took a trip through das Autobahn with Tonči.

Akcia sa koná iba jeden deň, vždy 1. Mája. To ale návštevníkov neodrádza od veľmi hojnej účasti. Je to spôsobené príchodom teplého počasia a prvými kilometrami po zime.

The event lasts for only one day, everytime on the first of May. This however doesnt discourage the visitors by any chance and they always come in large quantities. Its mainly caused by the return of warm weather and an urge to drive your veedub after a long winter.

Burza dielov na staré VW je na vysokej úrovni a považuje sa za jednu z najväčších. Dajú sa tu nájsť pekné chuťovky, široký sortiment dielov z druhovýroby ale aj veteš. Po pár rokoch, čo sa pohybujem na tejto scéne, mi je už väčšina priekupníkov známa a aj ich stále rovnaký sortiment.

The parts market for old VWs is on a really high level there and its considered the largest one. Pretty delicious stuff is waiting to be found in this place, a wide range of secondary production spare parts but also NOS parts and used original pieces with patina.
After few years being active on the scene, the most of the sellers are familiar to me and also their range of products and things they have to offer.

Priebeh dňa: 6.00 budíček, 7.00 nastúpení na burze, do 12.30 neúnavné pobehovanie a hľadanie, vyškrtávanie zoznamov dielov.

Time frame: 6.00 wakey, 7.00 all ready and set to search the bourse, until 12.30 a tireless running around and searching for parts until everything on the list was checked.

Then we went to see the jewels of the meet :

Cestou domov sme sa zastavili na návštevu Teplickej ponorkovej bandy

On the way back home we stopped by to see our friends in Teplice (CZ)

Aby sa nepovedalo, aj sme chalanom trochu pomohli a Tonči znižoval Dubaiov typ3 Variant v pôvodnom stave

We also helped the blokes out a little in their workshop and Tonči tried to lower the front of Dubai´s typ3 Variant 😀

Navštívili sme aj dielňu majstra Štepána (okrasa) a ukázal nám krásne vecičky

We also visited the shop of master Štepán (okrasa). We were shown some pretty tasty aircooled porsche stuff

Výlet sme zakončili veľkým rautom na záhradke. Pan domáci nás ponúkol vínkom z vlastných sudov. Bolo výborne ako aj celý výlet. Ďakujem chalanom z Teplíc za pohostenie.

 We ended our excursion with a great garden party. The landlord let us taste his own wine from his own winecellar. Was very delicious and so was the whole trip. We would like to thank the boys from Teplice for their warm welcome and hospitality.
